CNOOC and COSL shuffle top management

Hong Kong-listed China Oilfield Service Limited (COSL) has announced that it has received resignations from the company’s president and ceo Li Yong due to other work arrangement.

The company has proposed to appoint Qi Meisheng to replace Li Yong as the ceo and president of the company.

Qi has served various positions in the company including vice president of COSL and general manager of COSL Drilling.

In the meantime, COSL’s parent China National Offshore Oil Coporation (CNOOC) also announced that Yang Hua has been appointed as ceo while he remains chairman of company to replace Li Fanrong, who has been appointed deputy director of the National Energy Administration.
