CNOOC announces 2014 targets

Beijing: China’s largest offshore oil and gas producer, CNOOC, announced that the company plans to produce up to 435 million barrels of oil equivalent and drill over 155 wells in 2014.

During the year, CNOOC expects to develop 7-10 new projects with around RMB120bn capital expenditure.

The company will strengthen its deepwater exploration in 2014, and have several oil fields on stream, CNOOC said. [22/01/14]
