Dubai: Riyadh Dry Port is expanding its handling capacity from the current 400,000 teu to 1m teu per year as it boosts rail links from the capital to ports in the region.
The Riyadh-Kharj rail line will be rehabilitated and its speed raised from 60 km/h to 180 km/h. Also next year a new rail line linking Riyadh to Dammam will open. [19/12/13]
