Containerlines return to Shahid Rajayee

Dubai: Western sanctions against Shahid Rajayee port in southern Iran have been lifted and the first foreign cargo ship will berth in the port on July 20, state media reported. Shipping lines from India, Korea, China and Taiwan are all expected to call at the port soon.

Located at Bandar Abbas, the container port is one of Iran’s most significant with a capacity of around 4m teu a year.  [16/07/14]
