Coral Shipping takes second tanker in the space of just five weeks

Active Greek tanker firm Coral Shipping has been linked to its second acquisition in just over a month.

Brokers suggest Coral has taken the 2003-built LR1 tanker Tanja Jacob from KG fund Ernst Jacob for an undisclosed price.

Last month Coral took the 2004-built MR2 Shimanami Sunshine from Asahi Tanker for $9.8m. This ship has since been renamed Adventurous.

Coral’s fleet now stands at 16 ships.
