Cosco denies Wei corruption talk

Beijing: China’s largest maritime conglomerate, Cosco, has said its former chairman is not involved in any corruption scandal, and denied reports that a travel ban has been put in place on the former chairman of the company.

Last week, Xu Minjie, vice president of Cosco Group, was taken away by authorities for corruption investigations, the latest in a series of Cosco executives to be accused of corruption. [11/11/13]
