Cosco orders two car carriers at Beihai Shipbuilding Industry

Cosco Shipping Specialized Carriers, the special purpose vessel unit of China Cosco Shipping, has placed an order at Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Industry for the construction of two 2,200 ceu car carriers.

It is the first car carrier order placed at Beihai Shipbuilding.

The vessels will be operated by Guangzhou Cosco Shipping Ro Ro Trasportation for domestic vehicle transport service upon delivery in 2019.

Currently Cosco Shipping Specialized Carriers operates 11 car carriers.
