Cosco secures coal shipping contract from China Coal Energy

Cosco Shipping Bulk has signed an agreement with China Coal Energy for domestic coal transportation.

Under the agreement, Cosco Shipping Bulk will transport coal from China Coal Energy’s terminal in Tangshan to Jiangsu Guoxin Yangzhou Power Station.

Cosco expects to use its 48,000 dwt handysize bulker Bao Da Ling to execute 24 voyages, transporting over 1m tons of coal each year for the contract.

Cosco Shipping Bulk currently owns a fleet of 265 bulkers with total capacity of over 31m dwt.
