COSCO shipyards deliver new PSV and stringer barge vessels
Shanghai: Two Chinese shipyards in the COSCO Shipyard Group have delivered new vessels to buyers in the US and Europe.
COSCO (Guangdong) Shipyard has completed and delivered a new platform supply vessel (PSV), Chauvin Tide, to a US-based buyer. The vessel measures 83.75 metres in length overall (LOA), 18 metres in breadth and 7 metres in depth.
Meanwhile, COSCO (Zhoushan) Shipyard has delivered a new stinger barge, Bumblebee, to a European buyer. The barge is 150 metres in LOA, 36 metres in breadth and 9 metres in depth.
The delivery documents were signed by and between the shipyards and the respective buyers recently, COSCO said in an exchange filing today.
COSCO Shipyard Group is 51% owned by Singapore-listed COSCO Corporation (Singapore). [15/12/14]
