Cosco takes over control of Rui Tai Shipyard

Cosco Shipping Heavy Industry (CSHI) has launched a new yard in Nantong, further expanding its ship repairing business.

Cosco inked a collaboration agreement with Nantong Rui Tai Shipyard, under which it will take over the management of the Rui Tai Shipyard through CSHI’s Nantong yard.

Cosco has been expanding its dry docking capacity to serve the increasing demand due to upcoming IMO sulphur and BWTS regulations. Earlier this month, Cosco also inaugurated a new ship repair yard in Zhoushan.
