Shanghai: Cosco Shipping (Coscol) is planning to order three heavy lift vessels at CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding to further expand its fleet.
The three 48,200 tons-class heavy lift vessels are due for delivery in 2016, with the cost of the newbuildings not revealed yet.
Coscol ordered one 50,000tons-class semi-submersible heavy lift vessel at Huangpu Wenchong earlier this year and currently has a fleet of eight multi-purpose heavy lift vessels. [10/12/14]
