COSL secures major contract in Mexico

China Oilfield Services Limited (COSL) has announced that it has signed a rig and logistics integrated service contract with Mexican company Hokchi Energy, a subsidiary of Argentina’s Pan American Energy.

COSL will deploy its jack up drilling rig  COSL Hunter and marine support vessel HYSY 614 to support the contract.

COSL said it is the first marine support service contract it has won in the Gulf of Mexico.

Operations will start in October this year.
