Courage Marine in the red

Hong Kong: Dual-listed Courage Marine, an offshoot of the Hsu family from Taiwan, has become the latest owner to warn of slumping profits. The shipowner, which has sold four ships this year to leave it with a fleet of just three bulkers, warned of larger net losses in the first six months of this year, compared to the same period in 2011. The company is expected to officially announce its interims on August 14. The boss of the firm, CC Hsu, is one of four shipowners profiled in the forthcoming third issue of SinoShip magazine.  [30/07/12]
