Court accepts Nanjing Tanker restructuring case

Shanghai: Nanjing Intermediate People’s Court announced that it has accepted the restructuring case of delisted Nanjing Tanker, under the request of one of the company’s creditors, Tianjin Huifeng Energy Development Co.

Huifeng Energy applied to restructure Nanjing Tanker as it was unable to pay RMB19.45m in bunkering fees.

The court said it will choose a manager for the restructure through public contest.

Nanjing Tanker reported a total liability of 15.77bn by the end of 2013. Its president Zhu Ning has also been accused of several illegal activities by the investors. [16/07/14]
