Cremers excited by private equity’s entry into shipping


Hong Kong: The rise of private equity in shipping is a boon for shipmanagers, the ceo of Hong Kong’s Anglo-Eastern told our sister site Maritime CEO today. Peter Cremers, the veteran ceo of one of the world’s largest shipmanagers, observed that growth in his sector is coming from America.

“Money in shipping is coming from the US,” he said. “Private equity is geared towards using shipmanagers.”
