CSBC inks two boxships for TS Lines

Taipei: Taiwanese shipyard CBSC Corporation has received an order from local owner TS Lines to build two 1,800 teu containerships, with options for an additional two vessels.

It is the first official newbuild order CSBC has received in 2015, and the first vessel is expected to be delivered in the second half of 2017.

Evergreen Line confirmed this week that it will order ten 2,800teu boxships as part of its fleet optimisation plan. The official order will be placed soon.
