Taipei: Taiwan-based shipbuilding company, CSBC Corporation, has clinched a deal to build a pair of 1,800 teu container vessels for Singapore shipowner Iseaco Holdings at a price of $25m each.
The vessels, for Iseaco’s YL Singapore Shipping and YL Colombo Shipping, are due for delivery in the first quarter of 2016.
CSBC is currently building twelve 1,800 teu vessels for SITC International, four 8,000 teu vessels for Evergreen and two 4,600 teu vessels for Yang Ming. [02/01/14]
