Shanghai: China Shipping Container Lines (CSCL) has announced that it has received special subsidies of RMB77.7m from the Ministry of Finance for the retirement and dismantling of seven vessels during the period from January 2013 to April 2014.
In the meantime, China Shipping Development (CSD) also received a ship scrapping subsidy of RMB241m from the government.
In September, CSCL and CSD received subsidies of RMB41.5m in total from the government for the scrapping of 20 vessels. [30/12/14]
