CSIC Offshore Wind Power orders wind installation platform at Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding

CSIC Offshore Wind Power Engineering & Technology, the offshore engineering unit of Chinese shipbuilding giant CSIC, has placed an order at Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding Industry for the construction of a wind turbine installation platform.

The construction of the platform is expected to be completed in February 2020.

CSIC Offshore Wind Power was established in Tianjin last year to cater to the fast growing engineering demand from domestic offshore wind farms.

The company ordered another wind turbine installation platform at Dalian Shipbuilding Industry two months ago.
