CSSC Shipping adds two mini capes at Huangpu Wenchong

CSSC Shipping, the shipowning unit of China State Shipbuilding Corporation, has exercised options to construct two more 120,000 dwt mini capesize bulkers at CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding.

According to Clarksons, delivery for the latest two vessels are scheduled for late 2020.

The latest order adds to the four mini capesize bulkers CSSC Shipping ordered at the yard in July this year. All the six vessels will be chartered to Cargill under a long-term contract.

CSSC Shipping currently owns a fleet of 32 vessels, and has 19 vessels on the orderbook.
