Dagfinn Lunde becomes chairman of Executive Ship Management

Singapore: One of the best-known names in ship finance has become the chairman of Singapore’s Executive Ship Management (ESM). Dagfinn Lunde, the former ship finance head at DVB, told SeaShip News ESM is “the most professional of the shipmanagers”.

Lunde retired from DVB at the end of last year.

ESM, now 15 years old, is headed by Indian national B S Teeka.

“Executive Ship Management’s unwavering commitment to quality is amply exemplified by its expansive investment in maritime training and research through their world-class training institute, Samundra Institute of Maritime studies, which stands above the rest,” Lunde noted in a press release.

Lunde replaces Bjarne Tvilde who has been ESM chairman for the past five years.  [15/01/14]
