Dalian: Dalian Inteh Group, a chemical logistics provider is currently in talks with CSIC-affiliated Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (DSIC) for the construction of LNG carriers.
An official from DSIC revealed to SinoShip News that Inteh Group has the intention to order LNG carriers at the yard for a long time, and the group hasn’t made the order yet as it is currently still evaluating the risk of entering the market, and it is trying to seek a third party company to manage the ships.
Inteh group has already signed with Shanghai Bestway Marine Design and Cosco Dalian Shipyard for a 28,000 cu m LNG carrier in 2013 with delivery scheduled in 2015. [21/10/14]
