Dalian: Shiptec China 2012, the biannual maritime exhibition, is scheduled to take place from October 23 to 26 in Dalian and will set new records in terms of participation, organisers tell SinoShip News. The event was established back in 1992 and has grown to be the most important maritime exhibition of the year in China.
The tenth edition of Shiptec China is expected to attract 600 exhibiting companies including SinoShip News’s parent, Asia Shipping Media and 23,000 professional visitors. Six international pavilions will be present in this year's Shiptec including Denmark, Germany, Japan, Korea, Norway and the Netherlands.
Major concurrent events are the 20th anniversary celebration and awards (1992-2012), Shiptec China Senior Forum, the 2nd International Class Societies Forum & Networking, 2012 Dalian International Ship Financing Forum, Offshore Forum China 2012 and the Lianzhong Maritime Golf Elite Tournament.
