D’Amico sells ultramax to Korea Line

An ultramax just out of Yangfan’s shipyard in China has reregistered its owner name from Italy’s D’Amico to one of close its Korean friends. Brokers report that the ship named ship, Mida Huangpu has just been sold for $15.5m to Korea Line.

The ship has also changed its name to SM Emerald. Both the buyer Korea Line and former owner have stayed quiet for some time in the second hand market.
