DeepOcean extends contract for Solstad CSV

Norway’s Solstad Offshore has announced that DeepOcean has exercised an option to extend the contract for 2014-built construction support vessel Normand Jarstein.

The extension commences in the first quarter of 2020, and is for a minimum period of 200 days in 2020. There is also an option to extend the contract for a further year.

DeepOcean is using the vessel on renewable energy and oil & gas projects.
