Cairo: Egypt’s DeepTech Oil Services has confirmed an order with SMD for a Quasar MkII 150hp 3000 m rated work class remotely operated vehicle (ROV).
The high specification system includes Tophat tether management system, A-Frame, umbilical winch and fully integrated control cabin. The system is due for delivery very shortly.
The Quasar work class ROV is the mid-sized vehicle in SMD’s work class ROV range.“
