Diana Containerships charters post-panamax to CMA CGM

Greece’s Diana Containerships has fixed 2008-built 6,494 teu containership Rotterdam to CMA CGM on a time charter contract.

The charter, which is scheduled to commence on March 7, is for a period of eight to ten months at a gross charter rate of $6,890 per day.

The vessel was previously on charter to Maersk at $6,200 per day.

Diana said the contract will generate around $1.65 million of gross revenue based on the minimum charter period.
