Diana Containerships sells panamax boxship pair

Greek owner Diana Containerships has sold a pair of 2010-built panamax boxships, the Sagitta and Centaurus, for $12.3m each.

The vessels are scheduled to be delivered to the unspecified buyer by April 27, leaving the company with just six vessels.

Last month, Diana sold 2006-built 4,923 teu panamax New Jersey for scrap, while in January it sold two 2004-built post-panamax containerships, March and Great, to George Youroukos-led Poseidon Container Holdings for a total price of $22m.
