Diana Shipping capesize charter extended by SwissMarine

Greek dry bulk owner Diana Shipping has announced the extension of a time charter contract with SwissMarine Services for 2005-built capesize vessel Aliki.

The extension commences February 13 and is for a period of eleven to fourteen months at a gross rate of $10,300 per day. Previously, the vessel was on charter to SwissMarine at just $5,300 per day.

Diana Shipping says the charter will generate around $3.24 million of gross revenue based on the minimum charter period.
