Diana Shipping charters another capesize to Koch

Greek dry bulk owner Diana Shipping has chartered another of its bulkers out to Singapore’s Koch Shipping.

The 2011-built capesize Seattle has been fixed to Koch for a period of 14-17 months at a rate of $11,700 per day.

The charter is expected to commence on February 6, and generate around $4.91m revenue based on the minimum charter period.

Earlier in the month another capesize, 2013-built P.S. Palios, was fixed to Koch at a rate of $10,550 per day. In December, Diana also signed two new charter deals with Koch for 2015-built capesize New Orleans at $11,250 per day and newbuild newcastlemax San Francisco at $11,750 per day.
