Diana Shipping finds charter for newbuild newcastlemax

Greek dry bulk owner Diana Shipping has chartered out a 208,500 dwt newcastlemax to Singapore’s Koch Shipping.

The 12-16 month time charter is expected to commence on January 6, 2017 and is at a rate of $11,750 per day less commissions.

The vessel, which is to be named San Francisco, will generate $4.23m for Diana Shipping over the minimum scheduled time charter period.
