Diana Shipping fixes capesize to SwissMarine at reduced rate

Greek dry bulk owner Diana Shipping has entered into a time charter contract with SwissMarine for 2011-built capesize dry bulk vessel Seattle.

The charter commerces on Christmas Day and is for 16-19 months at $16,000 per day. The vessel is currently on charter to Koch Shipping at $24,000 per day.

Diana Shipping says the charter will generate around $7.68m of revenue based on the minimum time charter period.
