Diana Shipping fixes kamsarmax to Glencore

Greek dry bulk owner Diana Shipping has entered into a time charter contract with Glencore Agriculture for its 2010-built kamsarmax dry bulk vessel Myrsini.

The charter commenced on December 22 at a gross charter rate of $12,750 per day, for a period of minimum ten months to maximum twelve months.

The vessel was previously chartered to RWE Supply & Trading at a gross charter rate of $8,650 per day.

The contract is expected to generate approximately $3.83m of gross revenue based on the minimum time charter period.

Diana Shipping currently operates 48 dry bulk vessels.
