Diana Shipping fixes panamax bulker to Glencore

Greek dry bulk owner Diana Shipping has fixed 2007-built panamax vessel Arethusa to Glencore Agriculture for a period of 12-15 months.

The vessel charter commences April 25 and is fetching $12,600 per day, substantially higher than the previous charter with Noble Resources at $7,200 per day.

Diana Shipping says the charter will generate around $4.54m based on the minimum time charter period.
