Diana Shipping fixes panamax bulker to ST Shipping

Greek dry bulk owner Diana Shipping has entered into a time charter contract with Glencore’s Singapore-based subsidiary ST Shipping and Transport for 2013-built panamax Maera.

The charter commenced last week for a period of seven to nine months, at a rate of $11,750 per day. The vessel was previously on charter to Korean company Unico Logistics as a slightly higher rate of $11,900 per day.

Diana says the charter will generate around $2.29m based on the minimum time charter period.
