Diana Shipping fixes panamax to Hudson

Greek dry bulk owner Diana Shipping has entered into a time charter contract with Hudson Shipping Lines for 2004-built panamax bulker Thetis.

The charter is for 14-17 months and commences today at a gross charter rate of $10,650 per day. The vessel was previously chartered to Ausca Shipping in Hong Kong for $8,350 per day. Earlier this week, Ausca signed new charter contracts for two Diana Shipping panamaxes, the 2001-built Oceanis and 2005-built Clio.

Diana Shipping says the fixture to Hudson will generate around $4.47m gross revenue based on the minimum time charter period.
