Diana Shipping fixes post-panamax bulker at higher rate

Greek dry bulk owner Diana Shipping has entered into a time charter contract with SwissMarine for 2013-built post-panamax bulker Electra.

The charter has already commenced and is through to March 30, 2021 at a rate of $12,500 per day. The vessel was previously on charter to Oldendorff at $10,250 per day.

Diana, which has a fleet of 37 bulkers, says the charter will generate around $1.06m.
