Diana Shipping kamsarmax charter extended by Cargill

Greek dry bulk owner Diana Shipping has entered into a new time charter contract with Cargill International for 2013-built kamsarmax vessel Myrto.

The new charter commenced on July 18, and is for a period of 11-19 months at $14,000 per day. The rate is the same as the vessel’s previous charter with Cargill.

Diana Shipping says the new charter will generate around $3.57m of revenue based on the minimum time charter period.
