Diana Shipping seals panamax charter to Ausca

Greek dry bulk owner Diana Shipping has entered into a time charter contract with Ausca Shipping in Hong Kong for 2010-built panamax vessel Selina.

The charter commenced earlier this week and is for a period of 7-9 months at a rate of $11,750 per day. The vessel has come off charter with Hong Kong’s BG Shipping, where it was fetching a rate of $12,250.

Diana Shipping said the new charter will generate around $2.47m of gross revenue based on the minimum time charter period.
