Dingxin Shipping orders ultramax at Wuhu Shipyard

Dingxin Shipping, a new Quanzhou-based bulk shipping operator, has placed an order at Wuhu Shipyard for the construction of a 64,000 dwt ultramax bulk carrier.

The contract is the company’s first newbuilding order and the ship will be used for domestic shipping services after delivery in 2020.

Dingxin Shipping was set up this month by Quanzhou real estate company Dingsheng Property Development and plans to operates in the domestic coastal and river shipping market.
