Taipei: CSBC, Taiwan’s top shipyard, is looking to get into offshore and ship repair as urgent diversification is needed to counter the slump in newbuild demand. Traditionally a containership builder, CSBC has booked a pair of 35,000 dwt bulkers this year, but little else has come its way. It is looking at buying an overseas repair facility. [04/09/12]
