DOF offloads laid up anchor handler

Norwegian offshore owner DOF has said that subsidiary, DOF Rederi AS, has sold and delivered the 1999-built anchor handling tug supply vessel Skandi Stord to a foreign owner.

The vessel has been in lay-up since June 2016, prior to which it was serving a four-month contract with Sigurd Ross.

No further details on the sale were provided.

Late September, DOF sold subsea support vessel Skandi Santos to a new joint venture being formed by Akastor’s AKOFS Offshore and Mitsui for $42.2m.
