DOF Subsea awarded new contracts

Norway’s DOF Subsea has been awarded multiple contract awards in Trinidad and the US Gulf of Mexico.

2001-built CSV Skandi Neptune has been awarded a 3-year frame agreement for IMR and light construction services with a major operator in Trinidad. Commencement is schedule for later this month.

In the Gulf of Mexico, DOF has secured several shorter contracts to support IMR, subsea installation and decommissioning operations utilising chartered-in CSV Harvey Deep Sea. Additionally, 2002-built MPSV Geosea has been awarded a 21-day contract commencing late November.

Mons Aase, CEO DOF Subsea, commented: “This is important awards for us, securing good utilisation for our ships in the North America Region, in addition to creating a strong basis for future work in Trinidad and the GoM.”

Grant Rowles

Grant spent nine years at Informa Group based in London, Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore. He gained strong management experience in publishing, conferences and awards schemes in the shipping and legal areas, working on a number of titles including Lloyd's List. In 2009 Grant joined Seatrade responsible for the commercial development of Seatrade’s Asia products. In 2012, with Sam Chambers, he co-founded Asia Shipping Media.
