DOF Subsea vessels win new contracts in the Americas

Two of DOF Subsea’s multipurpose offshore vessels have won new contracts in Canada and Brazil.

In Canada, Skandi Achiever will support saturation and surface diving projects for a “major oil and gas operator” by providing remotely operated vehicle (ROV) services and “light” construction activities. The vessel will be employed until the end of October once it has finished its current contract in the North Sea.

Skandi Vitória has won a new contract from Petrobras in Brazil that will utilise the vessel for the remainder of 2016. The vessel is owned through a joint venture with Technip.

“I am very pleased with the contract awards, and our global organisation’s ability to secure utilisation in a challenging market,” Mons S. Aase, CEO of the Oslo-listed company, said in a release.

No specific details about the contracts or their day rates were disclosed.
