DOF Subsea wins several new contracts

Norway’s DOF Subsea has been awarded several contracts in the subsea IMR projects segment.

DOF has been awarded a new contract in the Asia Pacific region for 2010-built CSV Skandi Hercules, commencing early next year, for the provision of geotechnical services in Northern Australia.

In the Atlantic region, contracts for CSV pair Skandi Neptune and Skandi Constructor have been extended until the end of the year and end of January 2018 respectively.

Lastly, Brazilian built pipelay support vessel Skandi Niteroi has been awarded a contract by McDermott on the Atlanta Project for Queiroz Galvão. The vessel is jointly owned by DOF Subsea and TechnipFMC. The vessel commences the new contract in November and is for around two months.

“I am pleased with the contract awards and our global organisation’s ability to secure utilisation for the Group’s vessels in a challenging market,” commented Mons S. Aase, CEO of DOF.
