Dolphin Drilling gets semi-submersible extension from Chevron

Dolphin Drilling

Dolphin Drilling, a subsidiary of Fred. Olsen Energy, has been awarded an extension by Chevron North Sea for semi-submersible rig Blackford Dolphin.

The extension will allow Chevron to conclude operations on a well in progress by the end of February 2017.

The estimated value of the extension is around $2.6 million.
