Oslo-listed Dolphin Geophysical has said today that is has formally accepted a letter of award to perform major 3D seismic projects in India for a repeat client.
The two projects are expected to start in the fourth quarter of this year and will utilise two Dolphin high-end vessels for a total of 9 months.
The win will come as good news to Dolphin who recently had two seismic vessel charters terminated by Sanco Shipping, with talk of Dolphin being in charter default the reason for the termination.
