Dong-A Tanker looks to offload chemical tanker pair

South Korea’s Dong-A Tanker is looking to sell two 2009-built chemical tankers.

Brokers are circulating the Dong-A Iris and Dong-A Calypso, both built at STX Offshore & Shipbuilding, with a guideline price of a little over $9m each. The two vessels are amongst the oldest in the Dong-A Tanker fleet, and come off charter in March and May.

Dong-A Tanker has a diverse fleet made up of two capesize bulkers, four boxships, three vehicle carriers and eight tankers.
