Dalian: COSCO Dalian Ocean Shipping Co (DOSCO) is moving into smaller tonnage segments. It has signed a newbuilding contract with compatriot Guangzhou Shipyard International (GSI) and China Shipbuilding Trading Co (CSTC) for three MR 50,000 dwt product tankers.
DOSCO has traditionally been a VLCC player. The signing ceremony for this landmark order took place in Dalian and could mark the start of a diversification of business for DOSCO. [12/06/14]
