Double homicide on Italian tanker under investigation

Police are investigating a double homicide onboard the tanker RGB Gino Ferretti in the Caribbean. The Italian flagged ship moored at the Dutch controlled Orange Bay Harbour on Thursday morning with police boarding the vessel to arrest the suspect. The incident happened two days prior in international waters

The victims were described as two men from the Philippines, respectively 33 and 42 years old.

A 43-year-old man from the Philippines was taken into custody for the murders which are believed to have taken place in the ship’s mess.
